I have so much to be thankful for, spending another year traveling throughout the United States, visiting over 60 new counties.  Thanksgiving is a unique American holiday and it seems to present itself throughout the year more than any other, as it did last year………..

???????????????????????????????

I saw this turkey within a short distance of the Presidential Library/Museum of former turkey President of the United States Bill Clinton, in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 4th.

???????????????????????????????

When I visited the Burpee Museum of Natural History in Rockford, Illinois, on June 20th, I suddenly had a craving for gravy, pumpkin pie….

???????????????????????????????

….and  not much else had changed on July 11th when I visited the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis.

…but it looked so much more appetizing at the Macon County Museum, in Decatur, Illinois on September 24th.  Happy Thanksgiving and happy travels to all fellow Pilgrims.
