This is the birthplace and gravesite of the 31st president of the United States.   Hoover lived here for his first 9 years.  There are other buildings on the site, giving one an idea of what the village of West Branch may have looked like in the late 1800’s.

This is also the location of Hoover’s Presidential Library and Museum.  Hoover is the Rodney Dangerfield of Presidents. He doesn’t get much respect and is often blamed for the Great Depression.  The museum gives Hoover a fair shake and even points out some of the unfair things that have been said about him.
